let me tell you mine..
My name is Shaina. I’m 27 years old, a self-taught photographer, avid adventure seeker, easy-going, proud dog-mom.
I am the main photographer and videographer with Coldstream Photographer and Film. I grew up on my family farm (Coldstream Farm) south of Killam, AB, so I started off taking photos around there; of landscape, nature, basically anything and everything. I have loved it ever since!

My name is Nick and I am also 27 years old, and I am the drone operator and occasional videographer for Coldstream Photo Film. I am an avid DIY-er and house renovator. I enjoy playing hockey, fishing, golfing, camping, and being with my friends and family.
I have always found myself fascinated with technology, so when I found a way to add a new dynamic to photography and videography via the use of a drone, I was instantly captivated.
We are quite down to earth and sarcastic. We love random chats about life, traveling and capturing beautiful moments , and making the most out of life with our friends and family. When we meet, I can promise you 2 things - laughs till your stomach hurts as well as beautiful photo memories that we’ll create together.
Our Story
Our story starts back in 2007 when we met in Grade 4. We were as smitten as two ten-year old's could be, we were “boyfriend and girlfriend” from Grade 4 to Grade 8 (We know, SO cheesy). We separated for two years, but still were basically the best of friends. In 2014, after a ski trip together, we just knew that there was something special between us. The spark was always there with us, but that trip brought us back together and we have been hand-in-hand, supporting, growing, and learning together ever since. We both hold so much love for our families, friends, adventure, and creating memories together. We are also lucky to share this passion together and we are dedicated to capturing your real and authentic love story and special moments. We work together and encourage one another not only in this passion, but through everything in life!
